Riccotech has had the technical know-how on Fiscal devices due to its presence and information on the emergence of the ETR as a VAT collection device in Kenya'
Currently Ricco Tech distributes and maintains all the three categories of EFDs (Electronic Fiscal Devices), namely;
ETRs (Electronic Tax Registers): These are the small portable devices that are best suited for sales people and delivery persons.
EFPs (Electronic Fiscal Printers): These are configured for use through a POS (Point of Sale) system. They are best suited for supermarkets and departmental stores that use Point of Sale software.
ESDs (Electronic Signature Devices): These devices present an advanced way of VAT collection by authenticating an invoice by means of a unique signature randomly generated from the device.
